Vice-President for Iran's Parliamentary Affairs Hojjatoleslam Seyyed Mohammad-Reza Mir-Tajeddini termed the White House ridiculous play game against Tehran as a scenario aimed at covering up numerous problems at home in the US and also a bid to create discord among Islamic nations in the region.

According to IRNA, in reaction to the recent accusations by Washington alleging that Iran had planned assassination of Saudi ambassador to the US, Mir-Tajeddini said this scenario is unfounded to an extent that most of the pundits and experts, including those inside that country, dismissed the accusation as ridiculous claim.

He added that the Iranian nation has stood up against the global arrogance and the US and hear a lot about these accusations alike; however, as the leader of the Islamic Revolution has reiterated the people of Iran would never surrender to threats or be blackmailed.

The president's parliamentary deputy said Iranians have never entered into any kinds of aggressions against the neighbors or others, and always interacted as per laws and regulations.
