Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast considered on Tuesday the US hasty and unconsidered move raising a baseless allegation accusing Iran of a plot to assassinate Saudi ambassador to Washington as that country's destitute and bewilderment in the foreign policy domain.

According to IRIB, addressing domestic and foreign reporters, Mehmanparast said in his weekly press briefing that the recent lie-mongering of the US is nothing but the White House new ploy in a bid to change the atmosphere through wrong and unacceptable tact.

He said the United States should come up with due and convincing document to substantiate its claim.

The Iranian spokesman noted that the allegation is aimed at creating a division between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which is nothing new since the Zionist regime and its godfather, the US, have been for many years following such a ploy to sow seeds of discord among Islamic countries in the region.

Meantime, Mehmanparast, who is also special assistant to foreign minister, underlined that the US officials each time tried a different plan to change the unfavorable condition in the region and also inside that country as a result of economic and social crises, even through illogical and unjustifiable before the eyes of the world public.

The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said the Islamic Republic called on the independent, friendly, and peace-loving nations to keep vigilance vis-à-vis the US ploys, avoiding hasty decisions.

Ramin Mehmanparst also reminded commitment of all the world countries to abide by the principles and rules accepted by the international community, warning against unfounded allegations that would only jeopardize international security and order.
